Margaret Mee takes a last look at the Rio Negro, Brasil 1988.It
was not quite her last look although her sketching of the Moonflower was
complete and it was time to prepare for the homeward journey. Margaret was
almost 79 years old and while on the one hand she was was beginning to think
about her next journey on the other she seemed to have a premonition that
she would not return. Margaret Mee died in a car accident in England late
in 1988 |
